Licensing exams in Presque Isle for radio operators

PRESQUE ISLE, Maine — Interested amateur radio operators are invited to amateur radio licensing examinations in Presque Isle on Tuesday, Jan. 16, at the Mark and Emily Turner Memorial Library, 39 Second St., in Presque Isle.

Classes will start at 5 p.m. Walk-ins will be accepted.

Examinees must have one form of valid, government-issued photo identification and their Social Security number. Licensed amateurs trying to upgrade must have in their possession a valid, signed copy of their current unexpired license.
