Connor Consolidated School hosts holiday concert

Connor Consolidated School fourth- through sixth-graders, from left, Allie Johnson Roy, Chantelle Babin, Jayden Edgecomb, Alexis King, Jeremy Martin, Sadielee Violette, Storm Hanning and Nicholas Anderson sing during the school’s recent holiday concert. Family and community members gathered at the school gym to see performances by students in grades Pre-K-6. Highlights included a theater-style rendition of “Frosty the Snowman” by grades 4-6, a melodic arrangement of “The First Noel” performed on bells by grades 1-3, and a rousing song and dance performed in costume by grades preK-K of “The Reindeer Pokey.” Third grader Sadielee Violette performed a solo of “I Want a Hippopotamus for Christmas.” Chantelle Babin, Jayden Edgecomb, Alexis King, Allie Johnson Roy and Nick Anderson performed recorder solos, accompanied by guitar. The show was directed by music/art instructor Sarah Love.
