Democrats urged to turn out for caucus March 4

I want to encourage my fellow Limestone Democrats to attend the 2018 Maine Democratic Party Caucuses beginning at 1 p.m. on March 4 in the Limestone Town Office.

There is so much at stake this year, and the caucuses give local Democrats a unique opportunity to get together, discuss issues important to us both locally and statewide, and find out different ways we can get involved in the 2018 campaigns.

This year, we’ll also be part of a statewide virtual rally — caucus groups all over the state will be making signs describing what Democratic victory means to them and sharing on social media through #VictoryStartsHere!

The caucuses are our first chance to stand up and be counted as Limestone Democrats. This is where real progress starts in Maine — with all of us, working together on the local level and getting organized EARLY to elect Democrats in 2018. Our caucus will be meeting at 1 p.m. in the Town Office. I hope to see all Limestone Democrats there. Whether you’ve never been to a caucus or have caucused many times before, we need your voice there. Democrats can pre-register through March 2 at my.mainedems.org/caucus/prereg, though it’s not required to participate.
