Mars Hill elects councillors, school board members

MARS HILL, Maine — Out of four candidates for Mars Hill town council, local residents elected one new councillor and re-elected the council chair on March 19.

Trent Lundeen, current chair of the town council, and Rena Kearney were elected to the town council for three year terms.

Monday’s municipal election also included positions for the School Administrative District 42 board of education, Mars Hill Utility District and Hansen Memorial Library.

On the board of education, Frank Boyd and Kelly Garrison were re-elected to three year terms.

Kevin Delong and Kirk McCrum were elected to the Utility District board of trustees and Marcine Henderson was elected to the library board of trustees.
