HOULTON, Maine — Several students from the area achieved academic recognition at their respective campuses for the fall 2017 semester.
Edwin James Gardner of Oakfield earned dean’s list placement at Washington County Community College in Calais. Students earning a semester grade point average of 3.5 or above are eligible.
Jessica M. Grew and Jill R. Gough of New Limerick were named to the dean’s list at the University of New England in Biddeford. Students must attain a GPA of 3.3 or better for the dean’s list.
Taylor Desmond of Oakfield was named to the University of New Hampshire’s Dean’s List, earning highest honors. She is majoring in social work. Highest honors go to students with a 3.85 or higher GPA.
