Presque Isle Rec Department plans peanut carnival

PRESQUE ISLE, Maine — The Presque Isle Recreation & Parks Department invites community youth to the annual Peanut Carnival Thursday, April 19.

The carnival will take place at the Sargent Family Community Center. Doors will open at 1 p.m. and the event will conclude with a bicycle raffle at 3 p.m.

There is a $2 entrance fee.

“Come enjoy carnival games like Ring Toss, Plinko and Bingo, and fill up on popcorn and cotton candy,” said Andrew Perry, the department’s program director.

There will also be face painting, an obstacle course and a bounce house (for those 6 and under).
