Support local farmers, craftspeople by shopping Riverside Public Market

To the editor:

Come ye. Come ye. Come ye to the Riverside Public Market in Presque Isle on Saturdays 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. What might you look for? Kale, Asian greens, blueberry pastries, tomato seedlings, radishes, maple syrup, sugar cookies, geraniums, pork chops, fresh eggs, dilly beans, BBQ sauce, lettuce, freshly caught brown trout, pansies, craft work of all kinds … this is just the beginning of a list of what is available.

Every week there will be something new. All grown/created/baked by our neighbors, the wonderful vendors of the market. Come support our local farmers and craftspeople. Located right downtown across from the splash pad. Handy.

This year there is even a food truck for your hamburger yearnings. Finish off your visit with a delicious cup of Storibord’s iced coffee. Try it with a fresh croissant and you will be glad you came.
