Anne Britting Oleson, Maine author, to read in Caribou

CARIBOU, Maine — The Caribou Public Library, 30 High Street, will host a book talk and signing with Maine author Anne Britting Oleson on Tuesday, June 26, at 5:30 p.m. in the Piper Reading Room. Oleson will discuss her second novel, “Dovecote.”

Oleson lives and writes in Dixmont, in the mountains of Central Maine. She earned an MFA from the Stonecoast program of the University of Southern Maine and was awarded writing retreats by Amtrak and the Hewnoaks Artist Colony.  

Her first novel is “The Book of the Mandolin Player” (2016). She has also published three poetry chapbooks:  “The Church of St. Materiana” (2007), “The Beauty of It” (2010) and “Alley of Dreams” (2018). A third novel, “Tapiser,” will be published by B Ink Publishing in 2019.

A reception and book signing, along with light refreshments, will follow the talk. Books will be available for purchase.
