LIMESTONE, Maine — In their first regular session since the annual town meeting, two new members joined the Select Board on June 20 in picking a chairman and town committees to serve on.

Paul Durepo and Walter Elliott, who were both elected June 12 to three-year terms on the board, replacing former members Greg Ward and Melissa Devoe, made their first appearance as members during the Wednesday meeting.

The board voted to appoint Tom Albert as chairman and Paul Durepo as vice-chairman.

Later in the meeting, board members discussed various appointments on town boards and committees.

Elliott was appointed to the Tri-Community Landfill board, Durepo was appointed to both the Parks and Recreation Committee and the Trafton Lake Advisory Committee. Albert volunteered to join the library board of trustees, and Patrick St. Peter was appointed to the Limestone Development Foundation board.
