Oakfield Seniors

On a beautiful Aroostook summer day, the Oakfield Senior Citizens met at The Slice Restaurant at the golf course in Island Falls for their annual outing. With lots of good food and great service, everyone enjoyed this special event.

Our next meeting will be on July 18 at the Smoki-Haulers Snowmobile Club in Oakfield.

Members discussed plans for our summer picnic, with more information to be available at our next meeting.

Attending were Bob and Delores Locke, Arlene Friel, Jim and Helen Blois, Iona Nadeau, Kathleen Boutilier, Mildred Gagnon, Jeanne Clements, Bernice Campbell, George Barrow, Wannetta Townsend, Marie Gillotti, Earl and Lottie Doughty, Don and Charlotte Marley and Verna Boone.

Seniors of Oakfield and surrounding towns meet at the Smoki-Haulers Snowmobile Club on the first and third Wednesday of each month at 11:30 for a potluck luncheon, followed by a short business meeting and entertainment. All seniors are invited to join us for food and fun.
