PATRICIA ‘PATTY’ F. VIOLETTE, BENEDICTA – Patricia ‘Patty’ F. Violette, 84, died on July 10, 2018, at home surrounded by her family. She was born on July 15, 1933, in Sherman, the daughter of Del and Alice (Carlton) Leavitt.
Patty graduated from Sherman High School in 1950. She was a beautician with shops in Patten and later in Sherman Station. Patty was a member of the Stetson Memorial United Methodist Church of Patten where she was active in the United Methodist Women’s Club. She enjoyed helping others.
Patty is survived by her son, Scott and Lori; and her daughter, Roanne, all of Benedicta; her three loving grandchildren, Joshua and his wife, Emily, of Lincoln, Tarren and her husband, Dana Cole, of Alton, and Brandi and her husband, Allen Christianson, of Mount Chase; her great-grandchildren, Arianna, Isaac, Karaley, Bradley, Wesley, and Stanley; as well as her sister, Jeannette Hafford of Stacyville; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins, and a very special friend, Margaret Kovalck. She was predeceased by her loving husband, Frank T. Violette; her parents; a sister, Leah, and two brothers, Donald and Maynard.
Friends called from 1 – 2 p.m. on Saturday, July 14th, 2018, at Bowers Funeral Home, Sherman Street, Island Falls, where funeral services were held at 2 p.m. with Steve Richardson officiating.
