A fire that destroyed a two-unit apartment building, garage and barn in Castle Hill Wednesday night remains under investigation, according to Mapleton firefighter Robby Gross. Crews from Mapleton, Presque Isle, Caribou, Easton, Washburn and Ashland spent about four hours putting out the fire, which a tenant called in at about 5:12 p.m. The buildings were already engulfed when firefighters arrived.
