PRESQUE ISLE AND ASHLAND, Maine – Joan M. McLellan, 83, passed away peacefully in her home in Ashland on August 5, 2018. She was born on June 25, 1935, in Presque Isle, Maine, to Charles and Mildred (Rand) Lint.
Joan leaves behind her son, Bobby McLellan and his wife, Theresa, of Lincoln, her daughter, Tina Hammond and her husband, Stephen, of Ashland, and her son, Preston McLellan and his fiancée, Katrina Green, of Vermont; two grandchildren, Amanda Hammond and her fiancé, Matt Gordon, of Presque Isle, and Connie Hammond and her fiancé, Thomas Gagnon, of Mapleton, and her granddaughter, Nevaeh; and her great-grandson, Graycin, who meant everything to her; she always called them her “Angels”. Joan leaves behind a sister, Mickey Philbrook of Florida, as well as many nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Joan is predeceased by her loving husband, Owen D. McLellan Sr. of 68 years; her son, Owen D. McLellan II; her daughter, Connie, and her two children, Tracy and Crissy-Lynn.
