Scott C. Patten

PRESQUE ISLE, Maine – Scott C. Patten, 58, passed away peacefully at his home on Monday, July 29th, due to a recent diagnosis of cardiomyopathy.
Scott was a very smart man, an exceptional mechanic who could fix or build anything. He worked for the State of Maine garage for several years where he was known as a quiet, but hard worker. Scott was an outdoorsman who loved to hunt and fly fish. He was always willing to lend a helping hand and had proven exceptional carpentry skills in his own home as well as assisting family members with projects. Scott’s gentle and kind spirit will be missed by all of those who knew him.
In addition to his wife, Cindy (Tilley) Patten, of 32 years, he leaves behind oldest son, Dean and wife Julia; grandson Oakley, who was the light of his life; son Dana and fiancee Becky; mother, Maxine; brother Jon and sister Lynn; several other family members; and long time friend Gary Guerrette. He was predeceased by his father Carroll.
At Scott’s request there will be no services.
