Donna Downing

PRESQUE ISLE, Maine – Donna Downing, 71, passed away in Presque Isle on Thursday, August 30, 2018. She was born in Presque Isle on September 24, 1946, the daughter of Harold and Georgie (Ouellette) Davenport.
Donna created a peaceful place with her magnificent flower garden over the years. She loved cooking big meals for family gatherings and kept a special place in her heart for Christmas.
She is survived by her sister, Sharon Pruitt and a brother-in-law, Roger Pruitt of GA, her brother, Alan and his wife, Debbie, of NH, and her brother, Wallace and his wife, Anita, of Fort Fairfield; her son, Levi Soucier and his wife, Lisa, of Presque Isle, her daughter, Pamela Johnson and her favorite son-in-law, Johnson, of Fort Fairfield. She will also be missed by her grandchildren, Daniel Soucier and his fiancée, Megan Allen, and her husband, Mark ,of Presque Isle, Dana Soucier of Presque Isle, and Jason Noelke of Presque Isle; her great-grandchildren, Marcel and Margaret Allen, Cyrus and Bella Noelke, all of Presque Isle, and a very special earth angel, Faith Pelkey. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Donna also had many friends who loved her and enjoyed sharing coffee and conversation. She will be remembered for her loving and caring nature and was a mentor to many.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by a son, Dale Soucier, and an infant grandson, Joshua Soucier, and her husband, Richard Downing.
