ALONZO H. LEE, DANFORTH – Alonzo H. Lee, 75, husband of Frances (Williams) Lee, passed away September 3, 2018, at a Houlton hospital. He was born September 28,1942, in Danforth, the son of Bryden and Phoebe (Spinney) Lee.
Starting at a young age, Alonzo worked in the woods his whole life. He loved playing horse shoes with his four girls, wife, family, and friends.
In addition to his wife, Frances, he is survived four daughters, Joanna and her husband, James Crone, Melissa and her husband, Mitch Lloyd, Julie and her husband, John Byers, and Renee Lee and her partner, Tim Gosselin; ten grandchildren; and ten great-grandchildren. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by a son, Scott Lee; a brother, Kendall Lee; and a sister, Joyce Lee. Alonzo also leaves behind several great friends.
Visiting hours will held on Friday, September 14, 2018, from 4 to 6 p.m. at Clay Funeral Home-Bartlett Chapel, 24 Houlton Road, Danforth. Graveside services will be held Saturday, September 15, 2018, at Hilltop Cemetery, in Danforth, with the Pastor Peter Grenier officiating.
