HOULTON, Maine — The Aroostook County Sheriff’s Office is seeking the public’s help in identifying a suspect of alleged vandalism who is pictured in a surveillance video.

The request was posted on the sheriff’s office Facebook page.

Officials from the department said they are seeking to identify the male captured in the black and white video in reference to an “incident” that took place in Littleton.

Acting Sheriff Shawn Gillen said Friday afternoon that the individual is a suspect in an alleged vandalism case, but indicated that he could not provide more information to the public at this time.

The video from a surveillance camera that appears to be mounted on the outside of a home in Littleton shows a caucasian male leaving the residence in the evening. He can be seen walking up to a vehicle in the yard and attempts to open the passenger side door. The video ends at that point.

The individual is tall and slim, wearing a T-shirt, jeans and a baseball cap pulled over his eyes. He appears to have brown hair and is wearing sneakers.

A reward is offered for information about the man’s identity.

Anybody with any information about the identity of this person, is urged to call the sheriff’s office at 1-800-432-7842.
