Becky was predeceased by her parents Elton and Hilda Jacobs; her sisters, Barbara Aldrich and Joanne Ellingwood; and her brothers, Elden White and Douglas Jacobs.
Becky did multiple things with her life. She spent all of it working very hard. She was a cosmetologist and nail technician for many years and drove general public bus for Aroostook Transportation. After retirement, she found enjoyment in volunteering to drive for Penquis Transportation. Becky loved spending time at camp with Dale, Ellen and “Queenie”. She loved kayaking, boating, fishing, playing bingo, and going out dancing on Saturday nights. She was a shark at cribbage and loved to win! Her latest pastime was scratching the Maine Crossword and hoping for the big win.
Tyler and Traci share a favorite memory of driving in the car with Nana and singing Chattahoochee.
When Tyler lived with Nana after high school, they would sit down on the living room floor, playing cards, and joke and laugh for most of the evening. These simple moments will always be his most cherished.
We would like to express our gratitude to the Lafayette Center team and Hospice Care of Houlton.
At Becky’s request there will be no services. In lieu of flowers, please send donations in her memory to the Houlton Salvation Army, Houlton, Maine.
