PRESQUE ISLE, Maine — The E. Perrin Edmunds Library at Northern Maine Community College will host a book-signing event on Wednesday, Dec. 5, at 12 noon, featuring Paul Cyr and his new photography book, “Northern Maine with Paul Cyr.”

The 128-page, hardcover book contains 450 of Cyr’s photographs, a sampling of some of the best moments he has captured over the past 15 years while visiting the people, places and things he enjoys the most.

Northern Maine with Paul Cyr is a beautiful book,” said Gail Roy, assistant dean of learning resources for NMCC.  “We are excited to have Paul join us on campus to not only celebrate his new book but to answer questions and share insight about his lifelong hobby.”

Cyr shares his work with over 30,000 followers on Facebook at Paul Cyr Photography.  His inventory of photographs is measured in the thousands and many are used by dozens of northern Maine towns and businesses for websites, report covers, and tourist guides.

Designed by local graphic designer Theresa Mosher, Cyr’s book is available at www.moshermultimedia.com and at several locations throughout Aroostook County.
