The Easton Recreation Department has secured tickets for Casting Crowns at the Cross Insurance Center in Bangor on Sunday, Feb. 24.

The bus will depart from the Recreation Department at 1 p.m. Participants will enjoy dinner at a Bangor area restaurant and the show starts at 7 p.m.  This is open to adults, families and community members. Children must be grade 7 and above to attend without a parent.

The cost of ticket and transportation is $40. Participants will be responsible for their meal.  Ticket must be paid in full by Friday, Feb. 1 at 3 p.m. Contact Hillary at recreation@eastonme.com to reserve a ticket.  We must have a minimum of 20 to offer bus transportation; 40 seats are available.

In the event of inclement weather, no refunds can be given, but the ticket is yours and you can make alternate travel arrangements.

The next tour is Sunday, April 7, for the Traxxas Monster Truck Destruction Tour, also at the Cross Center. Those attending with Easton Rec will all receive a “pit pass,” which will allow us photo opportunities and a chance see the rigs up close and personal.

The bus will leave the Rec. Center at 8 a.m. and hopes to return around 8 p.m.  Show time is 2 p.m. with pit passes good one hour earlier.  The cost is $30 per person for ticket, pit pass and bus transportation to and from the event.

Children must be in grade 7 and up to attend without an adult. Participants will be responsible for their own meals and souvenirs. Tickets must be paid in full by Friday, March 8, at 3 p.m.

The department also plans a trip to PJ Mask Live at the Cross Center on Saturday, April 20. The bus will depart at 8 a.m. We will have lunch in Orono. The show is at 2 p.m. and we will have dinner before traveling home. Tickets are directly in front of the stage.

The cost is $50 for show, recreation time at Bangor Parks and Rec. and transportation. Participants are not required to ride the bus, but the fee is the same with or without transportation.  Meal expenses will be on your own.

Up to 65 tickets are available. Tickets must be paid in full by Friday, March 22, at 3 p.m.
