PRESQUE ISLE, Maine — The Aroostook Huskies Football Club will hold a fund-raising concert on Saturday, June 1, from 7 p.m. to midnight at the Shriner’s Club located at 390 Houlton Road.

The Huskies are a football program located in central Aroostook County founded in 2003 for students in Presque Isle, Caribou, Mars Hill, Fort Fairfield and Limestone. Youths in grades 1-6 play flag football, while middle school (grades 7-8) and high school (grades 9-12) play tackle football.

“We need to raise money for the new field we built on Route 1 in Presque Isle and have to raise money for goal posts, bleachers, and benches for the team,” said Taylor DeFelice, club spokesperson.

The local bands Turning Point and Boomerang will perform. The concert, which is an age 21-and-older event, costs $15 per person and is BYOB. For tickets, call DeFelice at 207-227-9734 or email taylor@falcontransllc.com.
