HOULTON, Maine — Katahdin Trust has announced the promotion of Teresa Lincoln to executive assistant.

“I am very pleased that Teresa has accepted this promotion,” said Jon Prescott, president and CEO. “Teresa replaces Vicki Smith, who has served Katahdin Trust for 22 years.”

He continued, “In 1997, Vicki joined the bank’s marketing department as assistant vice president and marketing officer. She continued to advance her leadership roles in that department, ultimately being promoted to senior vice president, marketing and communications in 2009. She assumed the role of executive assistant in 2016. As Vicki prepares for retirement, we wish her all the best and thank her for her service.”

Lincoln joined Katahdin Trust Company in 1998 and served in the credit control department for 21 years until her recent promotion.  In her new position as an officer of the bank, she is responsible for assisting the president and CEO; coordinating meetings, projects and committee work for the board of directors; and managing communications to Shareholders.

She is active on the bank’s employee engagement team and volunteers for several bank-sponsored events each year.

A graduate of Houlton High School and Husson University, Lincoln has completed numerous classes from the American Bankers Association. She resides in Houlton with her husband, Brent, and has two grown children.

In making the announcement, Prescott said, “Teresa has been a tremendous asset to the Bank, dedicating her career to assisting our customers in a variety of ways. I am looking forward to working with Teresa in this new capacity.”
