As a reward for their class’s success in the Elks Drug Awareness Program’s poster contest, the Presque Isle Elks, Lodge 1954, paid for a celebratory field day for Ms. Hoffses’ entire class on June 14 at Gentile Hall of the University of Maine at Presque Isle and Mantle Lake Park in Presque Isle. Each member of the class showed off their commendation award in recognition of their individual excellence in the contest. Ms. Hoffses holds the Elks Drug Awareness soccer ball she received to commemorate her class’s exemplary performance in the 2018-2019 contest.
