LINCOLN, Maine — The defending Class C state champion Houlton golf team opened its season Wednesday, Aug. 28, splitting a tri-match with Mattanawcook Academy and Greenville.
Played at the JATO Golf Course in Lincoln, MA (2-0) shot a 188 to win the match, while the Shires (1-1) fired a 194. Greenville (0-2) finished at 239.
Individuals results for the Shires were: Isaac Vega, 46; Collin Moody, 42; Garett Harvey, 47; Sidney Peabody, 67; Matt Seider, 61; Kollin Irish, 59; Madalyn Quirk, 59; Abigail Fitzpatrick, 64; and Gage Bartlett, 53.
