OAKFIELD, Maine — The Oakfield Senior Citizens gathered for a hot dog potluck luncheon at  the Smoki-Haulers Snowmobile clubhouse on Wednesday, Oct. 16. There were lots of salads, beans, chips, casseroles and of course several delicious desserts with ice cream too.

Mildred Gagnon was the winner of the 50/50 raffle. Four members celebrated birthdays this month. President Alberta McDonald called the business meeting to order with the Lord’s Prayer followed by the Flag Salute. The reports were given and all were accepted. The dining room and table settings were all Halloween/Fall colors.

Our next meeting is Wednesday, Nov. 6, and it will feature “Critter Racing,” so come and enjoy the fun. Marie, Jann, Wannetta, Millie, Charlotte, Don all participated in a Halloween Costume Parade.

Attending were: Arlene Friel, Jann Votaw, Bernice Campbell, Alberta McDonald, Marie Gillotti, Mildred Gagnon, Iona Nadeau, Juanita Russell, George Barrow, Wannetta Townsend, Earl and Lottie Doughty, Judy Williams, Don and Charlotte Marley.
