The hunting team of William Brown from Mt. Vernon, Mike Mullen from Winthrop, Nick Archer from Westfield and Derrill Cowing from Monmouth enjoyed a successful moose hunt recently after bagging this brute.
The moose was harvested in Zone 3 four minutes after the start of the hunt on a Monday morning, with Archer shooting the animal with a 30-06. The moose weighed in at Presque Isle’s Ben’s Trading Post tagging station at 911 pounds with an antler spread of 58 inches.
