PRESQUE ISLE, Maine — Wintergreen Arts Center will host a holiday gift boutique and live art experience featuring local artisans on Friday, Dec. 6, from 6 to 8 p.m., during Presque Isle’s First Friday Downtown Art Walk.

Wintergreen will be featuring the creative works of four local artists:  Filomena Irving of Washburn, Caitlin Sanipass of Presque Isle, Lin Trombley of Presque Isle and Richard Reitz Smith, assistant professor of digital and graphic design at the University of Maine at Presque Isle.

Artisans will offer gifts from $5 to $55 such as greeting cards, wearable art, yoga mats, fine art, custom tumblers, ornaments, hand-woven work, pillows, mixed-media paintings, hand-made prints and more.

Feeling creative?  Shoppers will also be invited to try their hand at a painting station creating an adorable gnome painting with Filomena Irving.  Or, they may decide to roll up their sleeves and make a custom print using gelatin slab printing, a monoprint printmaking process on a gelatin plate, with Richard Reitz Smith.

This unique holiday shopping and live art experience is open to the public.  Refreshments will be served.
