Caribou police receive three reports of attempted burglary

CARIBOU, Maine — The Caribou Police Department is asking the public to report any suspicious activity in the area, as it received three reports of attempted burglary Sunday night and early Monday morning around Garden Circle and Pilgrim Avenue.

Police are investigating the attempts, and say the three reports are likely linked as they all occurred on the same night. The department also received video footage of one of the attempts.

Residents are advised to lock up their cars, homes and possessions, as police say burglars in the area typically target unlocked vehicles and homes.

Suspicious activity can be reported to the Caribou Police Department by calling 207-493-3301.
