Caribou Public Library announces donations

CARIBOU, Maine — The Caribou Public Library has announced that the following books and monetary donations were presented to the library during the months of October through December 2019.

October 2019

  In memory of Patricia F. Lajoie; donor, Patricia Lajoie. $80.00 was donated to the Memorial Fund.

November 2019

In memory of Susan McCarthy; donor, Pat’s Automotive Center: “Collage Workshop for Kids:  Rip, Snip, Cut and Create with Inspiration from the Eric Carle Museum” by Shannon Merenstein; “Friendship Bracelets All Grown Up” and “Friendship Bracelets 102:  Over 50 Bracelets to Make & Share, Design Originals, Easy Instructions for Dozens of Designs and Variations — Braiding, Knotting, Stripes, Diamonds, Waves and More,” both by Suzanne McNeill, and “Stitch and String Lab for Kids” by Cassie Stephens.

December 2019

In memory of Dan Andretta; donors, Lori and Tony Andretta: “Dear Boy” by Paris Rosenthal; “Dear Girl” by Amy Krouse Rosenthal; “The Good Egg” by John Jory; “Never Touch a Shark” by Rosie Greening.

In memory of Lisa Maynard; donors, Norm and Barb Collins: $25 was donated to the Memorial Fund.

In memory of Philip H. Mooers; donors:  Mark and Sandra Bouchard: “All is Calm – A Maine Christmas Reader,” edited by Shannon Butler.

Donor:  Earl Smith; $200 was donated with the purpose being the purchase of books for the Children’s Library.
