2 steal tobacco products from Fort Fairfield gas station

FORT FAIRFIELD, Maine — Two people stole an undisclosed amount of tobacco products from a Shell gas station in Fort Fairfield early on Wednesday morning, police said.

Fort Fairfield Police said that the unidentified pair broke into the convenience store area of the Shell gas station at 214 Main St. at around 4 a.m., swiping tobacco products from the store’s inventory.

Police have examined video footage from inside the store and said they are checking cameras from nearby businesses as they attempt to identify the culprits.
