PRESQUE ISLE & CARIBOU- Kathleen (Curtis) Argraves, 85, passed away March 18, 2007 at a Presque Isle healthcare facility. She was born in Fielding, N.B. Canada on December 8, 1921, the daughter of Erastues and Katie Brooker Doherty.
Kathleen worked for many years in the Presque Isle area, at Potato Service Inc. and at Acoins Restaurant.
She is survived by her daughter Nancy Conley and her husband Hershel of Caribou, two sons, Reginald Curtis and his wife Bonnie of Port St. Lucie, FL, Erwin Curtis and his wife Carol of Flint, Michigan, a daughter-in-law Blanche Curtis of Shelburne Falls, MA, 11 grandchildren, many great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her first husband Orman Curtis in 1963, by her second husband Robert Argraves in 1984, and by a son Ronald Curtis in 2002.
At her request there will be no visiting hours. A graveside service will be held at Pierce Cemetery, Mars Hill at a later date. The family would like to thank the staff at the Aroostook Health Center of Mars Hill and the Presque Isle hospital for the great and skillful care that had been given to our mother.
