    MAPLETON – Eunice E. Lovley, 88, died Monday morning, March 5, 2007 at the Aroostook Medical Center in Presque Isle. She was born at Castle Hill on Nov. 27, 1918, the daughter of Hadley F. and Clara Amber (Gillespie) Hilton.
    She graduated from Mapleton High School and the Aroostook Normal School. Eunice taught school for a couple of years.  She was a homemaker, mother, and helped  her husband Delance run the farming operation. She was a member of the West Chapman Advent Church, active in the Ladies Mission Society, served on the Mapleton School Board, and was a good neighbor, providing rides to anyone who needed one.
    She is survived by two sons and their wives; Carl and Emilie Lovley of Mapleton, Beverly and Lucy Lovley of Castle Hill, three daughters, Sylvia Copps of Lakewood, Colo., Charlotte Allen of Easton, and Linda Staples and her husband David of Palm Harbor, Fla. 16 grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren, and 7 great-great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband Delance, and a daughter Carlene Lovley.
    Funeral services will be held in the Spring 2007. Spring burial will be at Castle Hill Cemetery.
