Ellis Pelletier and Eric Anderson shot a 4 under par 68 to capture the University of Maine at Presque Isle Golf Tournament held at the Presque Isle County Club recently.
Alexis Madore and Betty Deveau won the women’s division with a 1 under par 71. Forty-six golfers participated in the two-person scramble that the university plans to make an annual event.
Mike Turner and Jay Treadwell were the low net winners for the men with a 13 under par 59, while Mileah Brown and Darleen Higgins won the women’s low net with a 6 under 66. Craig MacFarline, Chad Gray, Linda Graves and Betty Deveau won the closest to the pin prizes while Josh Knowles and Mileah Brown won the longest drive competition.
Proceeds from the event will benefit the University of Maine at Presque Isle student athletes.
