PRESQUE ISLE – The Presque Isle Historical Society would like to announce the publication of their third historical calendar, the Presque Isle Historical Society 2008 Calendar. This unique calendar contains a photograph and historical dates from Presque Isle’s past each month of 2008. Enjoy photos of Main Street, Academy Street, rural Presque Isle, and many more.
This unique calendar may be purchased for only $10 at Morning Star, the Presque Isle Area Chamber of Commerce, The Silver Basket, or New York Life. If you wish to order the calendar by mail, please send a check for $12 to The Presque Isle Historical Society, P.O. Box 285, Presque Isle, Maine 04769.
Proceeds from the calendar will be used to help in the restoration project of the 1912 Fire Station.
