Daniel E. “Rocky” Fletcher

PRESQUE ISLE –  Daniel E. “Rocky” Fletcher, 69 died Friday morning October 19, 2007 at his residence. He was born on December 20, 1937 in Johnson City, N.Y. the son of Nellie Briggs.     “Rocky” served in the U.S. Air Force and was stationed at the Presque Isle Air Force Base. He worked for Buck Construction for 16 years.
    He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Joyce (Soucie) Fletcher of Presque Isle; four sons and their wives, Danny and Nancy Fletcher of Washburn, Ted and Missy Fletcher of Presque Isle, Richard and Annette Fletcher of Presque Isle, Chuck and Melissa Fletcher of Mapleton; a daughter Susan Phinney and her husband Phillip of Bowdoinham; 15 grand-children, 11 great-grand-children.
    Funeral services were held 1 p.m. Monday at the Duncan-Graves Funeral Home, 30 Church St., Presque Isle with Rev. Larry Palmer officiating.
