Miller, Carrol P., 57, October 18, 2007.  Arrangements by Bowers Funeral Home, Houlton.     PATTEN – Carroll P. Miller Jr., 57, died Oct. 18, 2007, in Patten. He was born Aug. 16, 1950, in Baltimore, the son of Carroll P. Sr. and Ann (Thompson) Miller.
    Carroll was a member of the Registered Maine Professional Guide Association and the National Rifle Association. He was owner-operator of Bear Facts Guide Service, Patten.
    In addition to his mother of Baltimore, he is survived by his companion of 27 years, Diane Peck of Patten; one daughter, Rachel Bowers of Toneytown, Md.; eight grandchildren, Dustin, Brooke, Landon, Danielle, Stephanie, Lauren, Mitchell and Justin; brothers and sisters, Jeff Miller, Cindy Winkler, Bill Miller, Leisa Miller, Eric Miller and Jennifer Miller, all of Maryland; several nieces, nephews, cousins and several very close hunting friends. He was predeceased by one son, Lucas; his father; and one sister, Gloria.
    Funeral services were held 1 p.m. Tuesday at Bowers Funeral Home, Island Falls. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Maine Professional Guides Association, care of Bowers Funeral Home, P.O. Box 579, Houlton, ME 04730.
