PRESQUE ISLE – Advantage Payroll Services will be sponsoring its seventh annual complimentary CPE/CLE seminar. CPAs and attorneys attending will earn 3.5 credit hours toward maintaining their certification. Speakers will include Marcus J. Barresi, CLU, ChFC, RHU, REBC, Barresi Financial, Inc., speaking on “Retirement Planning and Compliance Issues for Plan Sponsors and Participants,” Richard Engels, Esq., Bemis & Rossignol, LLC., speaking on “Charitable Giving – How to Have Your Cake and Eat it, Too,” and Tim Poitras, CPA, Chester M. Kearney, speaking on “Ethics – New Responsibilities for Tax Preparers.”
The seminar will be held Friday, Nov. 16 at the Northern Maine Community College Edmunds Conference Center, 33 Edgemont Drive, in Presque Isle. Registration will be from 8-8:15 a.m. with the program running from 8:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m.
