HOULTON — It’s not too late to “be amazed” by Marko The Magician.
This Thursday, the Health Services Foundation will present for the first time ever, world-renowned performer MARKO — Master Magician and Hypnotist.
HSF Executive Director Elizabeth Dulin said this is a show that people will not want to miss.
“This is a first-class performance and I think people are going to be sorry if they don’t go,” explained Dulin. “It helps the cause. All of the proceeds benefit the Houlton Regional Hospital, what more could you ask for? Go out and spend $10 and do a good thing.”
From 7 to 9:15 p.m., Marko will perform his famous magic at the Houlton High School. The show is geared toward all ages, not just children and Dulin said she’d like to see everyone come out and experience the show.
“I want to get the high school kids to go because I think they’re going to be missing something because they’re going to think this is a kiddy show and it’s not a kiddy show,” she said. “It’s an opportunity they’re not going to have again for a long, long time.”
From 7-7:45 p.m. MARKO will be working his magic to bring people back to their childhood, where he says, “everything is new and exciting.” From 8 to 9:15 p.m., the hypnotist part of the show will begin.
“Magic is for everybody and the hypnosis part is strictly all cool stuff,” explained Dulin. “He doesn’t embarrass anybody or make anybody look like a fool.”
Tickets can be purchased at York’s Bookstore, Main Street, the Foundation office (located on the first floor of Houlton Regional Hospital), and via Web site at www.healthservicesfoundation.org, or call 521-2147 for more information.
