Merchants plan holiday Round Robin event

    DANFORTH — Merchants in the East Grand Lake area will be having open houses on Saturday, Nov. 10 from 9:30 a.m. until 5 p.m. for a Holiday Round Robin.
    Shops participating in this year’s fun-filled event are: The Pewter Loon on Route 1 in Weston, Another Time Antiques and the Cornerstone Restaurant in downtown Danforth, Pretty Pickins’ (across from Kinney’s Garage) in Danforth and Dave’s Hardware on Route 1 in Danforth. Visitors to these stores can enjoy hot mulled cider, Christmas Wassail, hot chocolate and holiday snacks, new and interesting items for the holidays and, of course, great savings during the one-day event.
    All shops are featuring a Country Christmas theme with country primitive décor and antiques.
    All shoppers will be given a card upon entering their first shop (any of those listed above) and can then have each shop they visit “stamp” their card. In this way, individuals become eligible to win the grand prize — gift certificates from each of the participating shops.
