    Allison Piper and Michael Glessner were married on June 9, 2007, at the Woodlands Club in Falmouth in a ceremony performed by Katie Underhill of Lincolnville, sister of the groom. Following the ceremony, a reception was held at the Woodlands.Image     The bride is the daughter of Neil and Connie Piper, of Gorham, formerly of Presque Isle. Allison is a graduate of Presque Isle High School and earned her bachelor’s and master’s degrees at the University of Maine. She works as an environmental scientist at ENVIRON International Corp. in Portland.
    The groom is the son of Ted and Jeanne Glessner, of Yarmouth. Michael is a graduate of Salesianum High School in Wilmington, Del. He earned his bachelor’s degree from Wake Forest University and his master’s degree from the University of Maine. He is an environmental scientist with Sebago Technics, of Westbrook.
    The matron of honor was Heather Jackson, of Bowdoinham, sister of the bride. Bridesmaids were Kate Scmidt, of New York City, and Amy Allen, of Bangor, both friends of the bride; and sister-in-law Maureen Courtney, of Sheffield, Mass. The flower girl was Anna Jackson, of Bowdoinham, niece of the bride.
    The best man was Tim Carter, friend of the groom, from Doylestown, Penn., and the groomsmen were brother-in-law Jared Courtney, of Sheffield, Mass., and friends of the groom, Doug Crandall, of Collegetown, Penn., and Craig Ness, of San Francisco, Cali.
    The couple took a wedding trip to the island of Saint Lucia. They now reside in Portland.
