ACAP to conduct community assessment to determine local needs

PRESQUE ISLE – Aroostook County Action Program (ACAP), in an effort to continue providing quality services in our region, is conducting a community assessment that is an exercise by which an organization gathers information on the concerns and conditions of children, families and the community and analyzes the information to determine program design, opportunities and services.     ACAP has developed a survey to help determine possible unmet needs in the region. The survey should not take more than 10 minutes to complete and it will give us much-needed information as we continue to look at the types of services we offer and how best to deliver those services.
This survey is confidential and can be picked up at any ACAP office, AMHC, Aroostook Agency on Aging or can be accessed on the ACAP Web site at www.acap-me.org. Please return the survey by Friday, Nov. 30.
It can be mailed to ACAP, PO Box 1116, Presque Isle, ME 04769, or dropped off at the ACAP Main Office, 771 Main Street, Presque Isle.
Thank you for your input as we strive to offer the best for the people of Aroostook County.         Celebrating 35 years of service, ACAP provides the people of Aroostook with services and programs in the areas of health, nutrition, child and family, energy and housing, and employment and training, and as a leader or in partnership with others, provides guidance to the community in responding to emerging human needs.
