Merry Makers entertain Star City Seniors

    The Star City Seniors Club met Oct. 18 with 33 members and three guests.
    The Merry Makers played and sang until 1:30 p.m. Everyone enjoyed them.  The blessing was said by Donna Devoe.
    After which, we enjoyed a nice potluck luncheon.
    The meeting was called together by President Betty Wilson with the Lord’s Prayer, flag salute, and one verse of “America.”
    The secretary’s report was tabled because our secretary got done.
    The treasurer’s report by Jean Easler was given and accepted.         What a way to go, Jean. Thank you for the great job you are doing.
    We wish some seniors would come and check us out. We have games.
    We would love to have new members.
    It’s at the VFW every Thursday.
    We eat at noon and we have music.
