Senior soccer bowl

    HAMPDEN – The Maine Soccer Coaches 13th Annual Senior Bowl was held at Hampden Academy last Sunday. In the boys’ game the West seniors got revenge from a 6-5 loss last year defeating the East seniors, 9-3.  Scorers for the East team were Tyler Cote of Ashland, Ryan Noyes of Fort Faifield with Mike Little of Machias assisting and Alex Martin of Van Buren who scored on a penalty kick. Keepers for the East were Brian Bousquet-Smith of Mt. Ararat, Tyler Levasseur of Winslow and Lanny Thompson of Schenck.
    In the girls’ game the West seniors tied the East seniors 2-2.   The goal scorers for the East were Allison Richards of Caribou and Amy Hackett of Bangor. Keepers were Lauren Howard of Kennebunk, Katie Woodman of Monmouth Academy and Jill Martel of Piscataquis.
