Fitzpatrick – Peabody

    HOULTON — On Aug. 11, 2007, Erica Rae Fitzpatrick, the daughter of Albert and Mary Beth Fitzpatrick of Houlton, was married to R. Barrett Peabody, the son of Ronald and Joanne Peabody of Hodgdon. The ceremony at St. Mary’s Roman Catholic Church was officiated by Deacon Albert Burleigh and assisted by Rev. Wayne Robertson. Following the ceremony, photos were taken in a potato field of the bride’s father and the reception was held at the Houlton Civic Center.
    The maid of honor was Kendall Fitzpatrick, sister of the bride. Bridesmaids included Jennie Cowperthwaite, Katie and Tracy Fitzpatrick, Courtney Good and Jessica Jacobson. The best man was Ronald Peabody, father of the groom. Groomsman included Abe and David Carmichael, Jason Grant, Sam Matthews and Micah Peabody. The flower girl was Madison Dunn and the ring bearer was Jacob Peabody.
    The bride is employed by McCain Foods USA in Easton as a potato agronomist. She is a 1998 graduate of Houlton High School and is a 2003 graduate of University of Maine, Orono with a B.S. in horticulture. She will graduate with an M.S. in plant pathology, also from UMaine-Orono in May 2008. The groom is employed by the State of Maine in Houlton. He is a 1990 graduate of Hodgdon High School.
    The couple spent the following week at East Grand Lake and plans a winter honeymoon in Hawaii. They reside in Houlton.
