Limestone ski club
The Limestone ski club will sponsor an after-school ski program for middle school students. Registration forms are available from the recreation or school office. The deadline is Dec. 12, and spaces are limited. For more information call 328-7491.
Men’s basketball league
Men’s basketball league teams schedule informal games at the Caribou High School gym. Players will receive a schedule of the dates the gym is available at www.caribourec.org. The fee is $3 per person per day. The following dates are available from 8:30 to 10 p.m. – Jan. 2, 10, 17, 24, 30 and Feb. 7 and 14. From 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. – March 6, 13 and 20.
Recreation basketball
All basketball meets at the Hilltop School gym. Pre-registration is required.
Grades one and two basketball will meet on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 3 to 4:30 p.m. Session one will meet February 26 through March 18 and session two March 20 through April 10.
Grades three and four basketball will meet on Mondays and Wednesdays from 3:30 to 5:30 p.m. The program will run from February 25 to April 9. Girls in grade four have the option of playing with the boys and girls program or going into the girls four to six program.
Grades four to six girls basketball will meet on Mondays and Wednesdays from 3:30 to 6 p.m. The program runs from Wednesday, Nov. 14 to February 13.
Grades five and six boys basketball will meet Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays from 3:30 to 6 p.m. The program will run from Tuesday, Nov. 13 to February 12.
Learn to skate
This program is for grades one to three, and will meet on Mondays and Thursdays from 3:15 to 4:30 p.m. at Teague Park ice rink. The program will run January to February, and pre-registration is required.
Ski daddle
This program is for grades three to six and will meet at the Teague Park shack. The girls will meet on Tuesdays from 3 to 4:30 p.m. and the boys on Wednesdays from 3 to 4:30 p.m. Dates are TBA.
Power of prevention exercise class
This class will meet Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. Due to construction at the Recreation Center, the class will meet in the downstairs of the Lions Community Building. The class runs to Dec. 14 and is $1 per person per class.
Cary exercise class
This class meets Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. in the downstairs of the Lions Community Building through Dec. 14. The fee is $1 per person per class.
