Contributed photo WASHBURN – Washburn District Elementary School will send six representatives to the County Elk Hoop Shoot to be held on Saturday, Jan. 12 at Weiden Gymnasium on the University of Maine at Presque Isle campus.
A total of 93 students, 46 girls and 47 boys, participated in the local Hoop Shoot conducted by physical education instructor Laura Gardiner.
Students who earned a trip to Presque Isle with their basketball skills for the county shoot-off are pictured to the left.
