BIRTHDAY GIFT — Emma Ardell, the daughter of Donny and Cory Ardell of Monticello, turned five years old on Jan. 7 and enjoyed a special birthday party at Rollerama. But instead of getting presents on her birthday, friends and family were asked to give non-perishable food items that could be donated to St. Mary’s food pantry. Roughly 250 items were collected for the food pantry and the Ardells would like to express their appreciation to all those who gave. Last week, Emma and her sisters (with help from mom) dropped the donations off at St. Mary’s food pantry. Pictured here are 1-year-old Ariana, 3-year-olds Isabella and Elena,  Emma and Mildred Madigan of St. Mary’s food pantry.
