PRESQUE ISLE – In observance of Maine Libraries Week (Jan. 13-19), the Mark and Emily Turner Memorial Library Youth Services Department will sponsor an essay contest to begin the week of Jan. 13-19. The contest is open to students in elementary, middle, and high schools. The title of the essay is “What My Library means to Me.” Essays will be judged and prizes awarded to the winners the week of Jan. 22. Deadline for submissions is no later than Sunday, Jan. 20.
