Randy and Kathleen Holmes, of Presque Isle, are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Erin Marie O’Connor, to Ryan Christopher Desfosses, son of Garry and Michele Desfosses, of Caribou.
The bride-to-be is a 2002 graduate of Presque Isle High School and graduated from the University of Maine at Presque Isle in 2007 with a bachelor’s degree in accounting. She is currently pursuing a doctorate of pharmacy at Massachusetts College of Pharmacy in Boston, Mass. Erin is employed as a pharmacy tech II at Wal-Mart pharmacy in Amherst, N.H.
The prospective groom is a 2003 graduate of Caribou High School and is currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in business finance, with a minor in information technology at the University of Southern New Hampshire. Ryan is a U.S. Army veteran who served as a combat medic.
The couple currently are residing in Salem, N.H., where they are attending college.
The wedding date has yet to be scheduled.
