Sawyer – Powers

  Larry and Debbie Sawyer, of Castle Hill, are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Julie Elizabeth Sawyer, to Zachary Powers, son of David and Pam Powers, of Presque Isle.   Julie is a 1994 graduate of Presque Isle High School and a 1999 graduate of Eastern Nazarene College with a bachelor’s degree in English and secondary education. She is employed at Presque Isle High School as an English teacher.
  Zack is a 1997 graduate of Presque Isle High School and a 2001 graduate of the University of Maine at Orono with a bachelor’s degree in secondary education and a minor in history. He is employed at Presque Isle High School as a social studies teacher.
  A wedding date has been set for July 19, 2008 at the State Road Advent Christian Church in Mapleton.
